SPLATTER PAINT is an acoustic project formed by Andrew Sun and Jeffrey Umbrell in 2023. Working from their time spent in the folk, bluegrass, and country scenes in both New York and North Carolina, Sun and Umbrell’s music incorporates delicate vocal harmonies, innovative instrumental arrangements, and introspective lyrics. The two seek to push the sonic boundaries of traditional American music while maintaining a sense of familiarity within the genre. SPLATTER PAINT’s first single will be officially released later this year.
