Henry Plotnick
Henry Plotnick is a pianist and composer based in Brooklyn. He is the keyboardist of NY blues rock fixture The National Reserve as well as leading his own jazz groups around the city. This performance features a hard-hitting quartet with members originally from California (Henry is from San Francisco), and will be performing jazz standards as well as Henry's own original compositions.

Bronte Fall
Teri Bracken’s career as Brontë Fall began almost accidentally. The singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs had always been a music obsessive, dreaming of forming her own bands and playing on stages. While working at The Hideout, a beloved music venue in Chicago, Bracken told the talent buyer she was working under that she started a band. A week later, the booker asked if her band wanted to play a show there. So, Bracken hit the practice studio with a friend to add to the mere 2 songs they had written as said band. She threw together a bio, took some press photos, and sat in a cafe all day until she came up with a band name. Inspired by the perseverance of the Brontë sisters—whose resistance to gender stereotypes in their industry would be a guiding light for Bracken—she named the group “Brontë.” She added “Fall” after her favorite Emily Brontë poem, “Fall, Leaves, Fall.” That was the beginning of what has become Bracken’s life—a dedication to songcraft, equality, and the Nashville community she now calls home. This new era of Brontë Fall is heralded by the stunning single “Woman Like Me,” which emerged from years in the industry that were trying and heartbreaking, but ultimately strengthened her resolve in her mission. After releasing Finishing School in 2020 and recording Winter in 2021 (released in 2022), the songwriter, who has called Nashville home for six years, took some time to be with her ailing father. “Life really went off the rails. On Winter, I was writing about being in a tornado. That’s what my world felt like,” Bracken explains. She’d finish tours and go visit her father in the hospital, who ultimately passed away in July 2022. It’s in his honor that this new work began. “I write. That’s how I get through life,” Bracken explains.
The Reflections
The Reflections consist of identical twin brothers Dan & Tim McGuigan. Formed in NYC, the duo's tunes are reminiscent of 90s alternative rock, but with a modern twist. The result is The Reflections' music; which refrains from looking to the past, and advocates for being alive in the present.

Adam Levy & The Mint Imperials
The Mint Imperials formed in New York City in 2006, when guitarist/songwriter Adam Levy was assembling a band to record his Washing Day album. The trio — featuring bassist Andy Hess and drummer Tony Mason — has played numerous live shows together since then, and released two subsequent recordings, including a live session from the famed Sun Records studio in Memphis, Tennessee.

SPARE ROOM
SPARE ROOM is the Brooklyn-based indie duo made up of Miranda Rozas and Mandy Rodio. Their sound blends Mandy’s midwest rock upbringing with Miranda’s southern roots to give you a unique twist on today’s alt rock/folk songs. After a few jam seshes in Mandy’s spare room, the band was born – and also named. Their debut EP is set to release this year, but while you wait, you can also catch them performing all over New York.

Joana Carvalhas is a multi-style musician actively performing and teaching in Portugal, Germany, the United States of America and the United Kingdom, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (UK). Joana constantly explores new musical styles and new concepts in order to approach innovative sounds and textures on the violin. More than a violinist, she describes herself as a whole musician using the violin to express and enjoy her music. Despite her classical music education, Joana has developed her improvisation, jazz and composition skills and has been presenting a solo project of original music for loop station and violin. During her musical career she has been performing in jazz concerts/festivals, classical style concerts (solo, chamber music, recitals, orchestra), Mariachi band, rock projects, metal festivals, circus shows, fashion events, and records often for other musicians and projects (session musician).
Liz and the Lovelies
LIZ AND THE LOVELIES is the project of Americana singer/songwriter LIZ CHIDESTER. Originally from the mountains of Virginia, Liz moved to Chicago in 2013 by train with 4 bags and 2 guitars and immersed herself into the Chicago folk scene, releasing her debut record People Pumping Pedals in 2014 under CAU Dog Records. In 2015, she released the EP Otter Hill, an intimate recording of 5 songs about her family and home life in Virginia. She was awarded as NPR's Newsong Songwriting Competition 2014 Mid-west Finalist, Chicago Music Awards Best Female Vocalist 2015, and a New-Song Songwriter Competition Finalist in 2016.
Her music inspired the talent of close friends and family to create the Americana band LIZ AND THE LOVELIES. The Lovelies included Alex Chidester (vocals, mandolin), Mike Fletcher (bass), Lewis Rawlinson (vocals, cello), Zach Finch (drums), Ivan Pyzow (vocals, trumpet, keys), Kevin Schwarzwald (violin), and Lauren Vogel (violin, vocals).
They released their first EP Progress into Simplicity in 2017. It was nominated for Best Roots EP in the 2018 Independent Music Awards in NYC, and they competed as one of the final four bands in Brooklyn's 9th Annual Silver Sound Showdown in 2018. Their single “My Way/Your Way” was a finalist in the Folk/Americana category in the Great American Song Competition 2018.
During the pandemic, the band Liz and the Lovelies lovingly separated as Liz continued to perform solo with her cellist Lewis Rawlinson, releasing “the great american chestnut tree” in fall 2020 after it was featured on NPR’s All Songs Considered. Without the band, "the Lovelies" became Liz and her songs.
With Chicago producers Matt Griffo and Liam Davis, her 2021 singles include “Gift That Moved You”, “Whiney Whiteboy Punk Song” and “Sun Sup feat. Frances Luke Accord”. Her solo EP otherside of the darkest timeline released in late 2021.
In 2022, she moved to NYC to form the “Latin Americana” duo project LIZ AND NILKO with her partner Colombian classical guitarist Nilko Andreas.
In 2023, she released a 10 year anniversary single “People Pumping Pedals (A Decade Down the Line)” produced by Azlo Production Studios NYC to commemorate a decade of performing and releasing music. .
Her most recent 2024 EP ‘BILLY’ produced by Liz's label Murmuration Records is music from the Cabinet of Curiosity show 'The Death and Life of Billy the Kid.' It features fiddle by Alex Sovronsky and lyrics by Seth Bockley.
Liz is a member of the Recording Academy and the Folk Alliance International. She continues to perform in NYC, Chicago, and across the US and Europe.

Rebecca Berlin
Often compared to Sara Bareilles and Joni Mitchell, Rebecca Berlin is known for unique melodies and song structures, vulnerable storytelling and a voice that cuts through the noise. She considers her style “folk with a twist”-blending the narrative quality of traditional folk with elements of jazz and musical theater. Her first EP, “Anatomy of a Breakdown” was released in 2006, “Grief Triptych” was released in 2023 and she is in the studio recording her upcoming album, “Questions and Answers”, set to release in 2024. She is grateful to return to the Rockwood stage with bandmates Juels Bland (electric guitar), Greg Kaplan (drums) and Ksenia Vasileva (bass).

Norah Dineen is an Irish Born Musician. A classically trained musician and artist: her work is a hybrid of music and film/performance art. She started collaborating with Nikos Kordelis in Athens in 2019, performing throughout Art Spaces in Athens and from that experimentation, she initiated the album NORMAL. The album is autobiographical experimentation and reflection on the social masks which block intimacy—inspired by bands like Velvet Underground, Tom Waits, The Rolling Stones, Lori Anderson and Matthew Barney. This album creates a music-scape, in which we dive into and lose our "selves" with others. She is finishing up her second album A SIMPLE WOMAN which she created in Ireland in 2023/24. This album is a soundtrack to a film she made in Ireland called AN ACT OF LOVE which will be released in 2024. She is now working on her third album CLIMATE CHANGE, songs which she wrote in Ireland and will be produced here in NYC.

Olivia Foschi is a jazz singer, composer and educator that weaves together the rich tapestries of her San Francisco roots and Italian upbringing with her profound passion for jazz, which ignited under the tutelage of Roy Zimmerman and further blossomed through her classical Nepali vocal studies with Aavaas in Kathmandu. Her academic journey in English Literature and formal music education across Italy and Leeds University fortified her artistic foundation, leading to a first-place victory at the Italian “Jazz Women in Blues” competition in 2009. Relocating to New York in 2010, Foschi’s exploration of jazz deepened, studying under Marc Mommaas, Fay Victor, and Jeremiah Abiah, and delving into the rhythmic complexities of Konnakol with Ganesh Kumar since 2014. With albums like Perennial Dreamer and Fleeting Windows to her credit, Foschi has cemented her place in the jazz world, eagerly anticipating the release of her third record in June 2024. Olivia has graced major stages in New York City, including The Blue Note, City Winery, BB Kings, Zinc Bar, and Drom, and has performed at festivals and clubs throughout the US, Europe and Japan. She was featured on NPR in 2016, 2017, 2021 and 2024 on WPPB’s live broadcast: The Jam Session Radio Hour hosted by John Landes. She has recorded and shared the stage with Gil Goldstein, Chris White, Warren Smith, Joseph Jarman, Thurman Barker, Ulysses Owens Jr., Gregoire Maret, Alex Sipiagin, Mauricio Zottarelli, Helio Alves, Greg Skaff, Mark Egan, Tommy Campbell, Lou Caputo, Erik Lawrence, Marco Panascìa, Stacy Dillard, Bill O'Connell, Matt King, Reza Khan, Vinicius Gomes and Yotam Silberstein among many others. Foschi’s latest endeavor, A Window Within, emerges as a deeply personal narrative set against the backdrop of global upheaval and personal loss. This album, a testament to Foschi’s resilience and creativity, was sparked by a challenge from drummer Mauricio Zottarelli to expand her repertoire of original compositions. Amid then reflective solitude of the Covid pandemic and the poignant loss of her grandmothers, Foschi embarked on a cathartic creative process that reaffirmed her identity as a composer and musician. Musically, the album is a collaborative effort, with Foschi and Zottarelli crafting the heart of the arrangements, further refined by the adept pianist Matt King. Connecticut singer-songwriter Ethan Fiske fronts the feel-good pop ticket Ethan Fiske and the Big Love Band. After the solo-creation of three new singles in 2022, Fiske was compelled to bring his songs to life in a live setting and came to the conclusion that collaboration was necessary. Previous participation in an ensemble project welcomed the connection to the members of his now 5-Man-Band. Elijah Atkins (drums), Aidhan Roque (electric guitar), Ryan Papagelis (keyboard/saxophone), and Ethan "Dupey" Dupont (bass) accompany Fiske, creating a high-spirited and inclusive environment parallel to that of being invited into a home. Blended together, their main intention became welcoming the audience into an atmosphere both engaging and festive; a celebration of undividedness. Sprouted from the importance of family values, themes of love and acceptance are prevalent in Fiske’s songwriting process. He aims to capture a timeless ambiance within his music, drawing inspiration from past decades’ contributions to the evolution of pop. With influences ranging from 1960s Motown to 2010s Electro-Pop, these songs are bound to cultivate a diverse collective audience. Beckenstein-Brown
Marion Beckenstein and Bryan Brown were both born under the sign of the Charles Chips deliveryman and grew up within the sound of suburban transistor and car radios. Marion is a trained soprano and autoharpist. Bryan is an untrained guitar player and veteran of multiple rock bands. Their repertoire is partly original tunes, partly ye olde world stuff, largely rooted in those '60s and '70s songwriters—you know the ones—and their forebears. They are joined by Peter McCulloch, veteran multi-keyboardist, who adds a touch of class to the proceedings.

Daniel Hardin is a singer/songwriter and guitarist out of NYC. Check out his new album "Memory Salesman I". He released his 2nd album, "Spice Cabinet" in early 2020. A mix of a variety of moods and flavors, Spice Cabinet features a variety of musicians such as Mark Lettieri (Snarky Puppy, The Fearless Flyers), Ariel Posen, Jesus Molina, Misnomer, and Emrah Kotan. He released his 3rd album, "Rock Music for the Honda CR-V” in the fall of 2021. It is a moodier, darker mix of songs, that are drum-heavy and specially optimized for the 2015 Honda CR-V LX in Mountain Air Metallic Blue. Though it will also sound good in other vehicles. His 4th album, Good Morning is a mellower, more romantic blend of songs features cool folks such as KONL, Lane Marie, and Ariel Posen. He just released his 5th album, Memory Salesman I. It is a blend of funk, pop and indie rock focused on honest songwriting and groovy grooves. The songs are about serious subjects like his beautiful wife, comparison, death, cold brew coffee, and a two-timer named Puckerlip Leroy.

Nelson made her Broadway debut as an evil flying apple in The Green Bird, a commedia play directed by Julie Taymor. She then went on to star in SWING! on Broadway and on the 1st National Tour. Other credits include The Canterbury Tales at The Guthrie Theatre, Michelle Philips in the Off-Broadway Production of Dream a Little Dream – The Mama’s and Papa’s Musical, the original cast of Radiant Baby directed by George C. Wolfe at the Public Theatre, and Sylvie in El Paso Blue off-Broadway at the 1st annual Summer Play Festival on Theatre Row. On television she played Lori King, the murderous con-artist in The District on CBS. Throughout her acting and singing career, Nelson found comfort and joy in songwriting. She won Mearlefest’s Chris Austin Songwriting Competition, is a two time finalist for the Kerrville New Folk Festival Competition for Emerging Songwriters, and was in the top 15 of the International Songwriting Competition in the Country division. She plays regularly at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe and has graced the stages of City Winery and many other songwriter venues in Nashville and beyond. In a quest to share his own experience of finding a sense of place, and the challenging yet rewarding process of settling into New York City, multi-hyphenate singer, songwriter, and visual artist Eddie Sears brings us Rocket Pengwin – a story of a penguin that moved from Antarctica to New York City, told through pop-punk songs. The project brings fans into a familiar and surreal world, where they must examine their own preconceived notions of what it means to be the odd one out. The first full-length Rocket Pengwin project, Polar Opposites, arrived in September 2023. With praise from BBC Radio 1 and production by legendary drummer Ilan Rubin laced throughout, the project received praise from both fans and notable press outlets alike. Piatt Pund
Violin, Guitar, and vocals: the bread and butter that makes Piatt who he is. These skills and talents take the forefront of his new, self-titled album "Piatt Pund" with a combination of Blues/Rock, Jazz, and Soul. Pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a multi-instrumentalist is what Piatt has set out to do with his career. Ranging from Classical to Jazz education, along with bluegrass and pop, all of these genres can be heard clearly within the nuance of his tone and soul. Piatt started his journey in music with a cardboard violin at the age of four. At the age of seven, he picked up the ukulele. From there, his musical interests cascaded forward picking up the mandolin at 13 years-old, the Irish Bouzouki, Dulcimer, Bass Guitar, and Guitar at 14, and finally the Harmonica at 17. These instruments have shaped how he thinks about music, not only arrangement wise, but also how to break the boundaries of what fits the genre he is going for. Hailing from Boulder, CO, Piatt began classical training for the violin. After living in the Centennial State for 12 years, he moved with his family to sunny San Diego, CA. This is where Piatt became involved within his beach community and joined several local bands, as well as formed his duo with his brother. Going into high school, he became exposed to American Roots music and became infatuated with the blues and how it has shaped American history. Piatt found his soul within the blues and plans to take it to new heights.
Benjamin Gordon
Benjamin Gordon, Oliver Divone, Christopher Kendrick, and Cullen Riley-Duffy are veterans of New York City, and are joining together for a supergroup performance, taking inspiration from Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young and boygenius. Known for his work as one half of indie rock outfit Lucas & Corey and the bassist of psychedelic band Heavy Feather & the Magic Word, Gordon released bedroom pop album "Pink Months" in February. Based in New York City, Oliver Divone has spent years recording and performing with countless independent artists in the Northeast United States, and is more recently promoting his latest release "Time is Everything". Along for the ride come Christopher Kendrick, the frontman for Heavy Feather & the Magic Word, and Cullen Riley-Duffy, who releases under the The Flying Zamboni Brothers and is the other half of Lucas & Corey.

Ensemble Sangineto
Ensemble Sangineto is an eclectic band which blends skillfully ancient harmonies and sonorities with modern rhythms. The wide-ranging musical experiences of the individual members converge to create fresh worldmusic arrangements of Italian and European tradition-inspired tunes and original compositions that display influences from many varied musical genres ranging from classical to folk, from Renaissance music to musical, from pop to Celtic music. The delicate combination of the pure and magic tones of the harp and of the bowed psaltery with the guitar intermingle with the three voice-polyphonic texture evoking dreamlike and airy atmospheres, which are simultaneously joyful and light. Grand Tour Vol. 1 is the debut album of a 2-part project conceived by Ensemble Sangineto as a tribute album to Italian traditional music with fresh interpretations of a folk tune from each of the 20 Italian regions. From this discographic project arises the concert “Le Grand Tour - Songs and Enchantments from the Alps to the Mediterranean Sea”, an involving performance which presents a musical trip exploring the all Italian regions through the reinterpretation of their varied music traditions. Ensemble Sangineto’s main purpose focuses on the melding of Italian folk tunes with an international modern flavor, in the perspective of a continuity and renovation of the Italian folk music drawing on other European countries’ traditions (especially, the Irish, French, Breton and Scottish). Charming melodies, original and astonishing arrangements, the delicate polyphonic texture of the three voices and punchy vibrant rhythms, a groundbreaking and unpredictable use of the timbral potentialities of the harp, the bowed psaltery and the bouzouki. In 2023 They have graced the stages of numerous festivals worldwide and have toured Europe, New Zealand, and the US (multiple times). Additionally, they have secured an official showcase at the prestigious Folk Alliance 2024.
