The Bavarian Kings have been dubbed "The Oktoberfest Band of NYC” by our German restaurant-owning friends!

We have been active in the NYC area for 8 years and combine all the old, authentic and beloved Munich-based Bavarian Oktoberfest music with the original German, Tirol and Swiss yodels. 

We add modern curiosities that are performed in Munich tents (but most don’t realize) from John Denver, Neil Diamond, Doris Day!

We also cover and “Oompah-arrange” tunes from ELO, Beatles, Queen, Mika, Elton John, Led Zeppelin and others.  

Finally, we source modern German club music and social media sensations as they arise for a great show!

The Bavarian Kings are lead by Andrew Kay who is no stranger to singing, composing, music direction, stage, sound and screen after over 25 years in the entertainment, live, studio and classical music industries - both in front and behind the scenes!  

A post-production mixer by trade, Andrew runs Sounds Big Productions, Inc. and produces the band for entertainment, upholding German tradition and building a sense of healthy fun and Gemütlichkeit (coziness) for the listener! 

The band members are all serendipitously grown musical relationships from great industry friends!  They come out of Birdland, local NYC schools, synagogues, churches, clubs, the Coast Guard and the NYC post-production industry!
