Storytelling is the key to Chloé Sautereau’s authentic, raw sound. Born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, the 22 year old singer-songwriter picked up her first guitar at the age of 8 and quickly started writing songs. A former competitive figure skater, Sautereau's passion revealed itself in sharing stories and creating an aesthetic of her own. Her Brazilian and French origins exposed her to everything from Bossa Nova to chanson française growing up. Mostly self-taught on guitar and piano she has sung for as long as she can remember. Today, influenced by artists like Holly Humberstone, FINNEAS and Julia Michaels, Chloé Sautereau’s bare-face pop sound blurs the line between reality and what goes on in our heads. With songs on main Swiss radios, she continues to paint a world truer to herself, highlighting her unapologetically intimate tone, guided by ideas of our human complexities, relationships and trying to find oneself in the whirlwind of it all.
