Based in New York City, Imogen Valentine was born and raised in London to a Puerto Rican mother and American father. Imogen's story began when she started taking singing lessons and partaking in school musicals as a child, but it was a Sam Smith concert at the age of 15 that pushed her to start recording music and going to recording studios throughout high school. With inspiration from artists like Lana Del Rey, Mac Miller, and Lorde, Imogen creates the perfect blend of pop rock and dream pop music. She is currently a senior at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU.
