The Keith Daniels Quartet is a New York-based ensemble performing original and popular Latin American and jazz fusion music. By taking such rhythms as the Cuban bolero, Brazilian samba, Chilean cueca, Argentine chacarera and Peruvian landó and using them as a framework for jazz improvisation, the quartet offers a fresh perspective on these genres, both embracing their respective traditions and looking into their future as art forms. After successfully showcasing their music in such NY venues as Silvana, Shrine, Fiction Bar and Rockwood itself, the Keith Daniels Quartet is in the process of producing its debut record.
