Slovakian Songwriters in Concert featuring: TIMEA, Tamara Kramar, and Ester Wiesnerova

TIMEA, an indie artist from Slovakia now based between New York and Bratislava, brings a unique blend of authenticity and emotion to her music. Her journey began in 2020, quickly gaining national recognition. TIMEA has since captivated audiences at major festivals in Slovakia and Czechia, as well as in cities like London, Vienna, Perth, and Budapest. Known for her mesmerizing performances and intimate connection with her audience, she is currently working on her debut album, set to release in April 2025. TIMEA’s music is a fresh breeze in the indie scene, resonating deeply with listeners.

Tamara Kramar is a soul-pop singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer known for blending her soft vocals and vulnerable storytelling with impactful grooves and jazz-influenced instrumentals. Originally from Slovakia, she spent the last 5 years in the UK, first studying cognitive neuroscience, later pursuing music full-time. Her debut EP Bachelor of Science set her career off to a strong start with a Radio_Head award in the Discovery of the Year category, international playlisting and radio recognition, and most notably a position in Forbes Slovakia’s 30 under 30. Her most recent work, a mini-album called Make It Poetic, showcases Tamara as a self-sufficient producer and further defines her identity as a well-rounded artist. Tamara Kramar has recently relocated to New York City to pursue a master’s degree in songwriting and production at Berklee NYC.

Ester Wiesnerova is a Slovak vocalist and composer whose music bridges contemporary jazz and poetic storytelling. Her album "Blue Journal" features original compositions in Slovak and English, performed by an unusual quintet featuring harp and percussion. Praised as "an artist of rare imagination and formidable arranging skills" (JazzWise, UK), Ester’s voice is described as a "warm, inviting, whispered breath" (The Whole Note, CA) and "manifesting itself quietly and with great gravity" (All About Jazz, US). Recognized by Forbes in their 30 under 30 and considered for Grammy awards in two categories, Ester’s poetic depth and distinctive artistry leave a lasting impression on all careful listeners.
