“Hometowns of Consequence” Winners for Best Local US Music Venues Announced
Fans voted to honor these legendary, cherished, and vital venues across the country

You voted, we tallied, and now we celebrate. The winners of the inaugural Hometowns of Consequence search for the Best Local US Music Venues have been chosen!
As live music has long been part of the Consequence legacy, we wanted to honor the venues that give a platform and home to performing artists. In our quest for the best music halls, theaters, and clubs across the country, we asked fans to nominate the cultural gathering places in their communities. With four finalists chosen in each of our five Hometowns regions, we asked for a final vote to choose our winners.
We’re proud, excited, and honored to open the envelope and reveal our Hometowns of Consequence winners: Northeast — Rockwood Music Hall in New York, New York; Southeast — George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, Arkansas; Midwest — First Avenue & 7th St Entry in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Southwest — Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and West — Troubadour in Los Angeles, California.
